Gloucestershire weather and flooding latest updates: Torrential rain on the way

The A417 is closed in both directions this morning between Maisemore and Over roundabout because of flooding.

Sandhurst Lane in Gloucester is also closed near the A417 St Oswald's Road junction, because of flooding.

The B4213 is also closed between Tirley and Lower Apperley.

It comes as severe flood warnings for Minsterworth and Quedgeley have been removed - but flood alerts remain in place across the county.

Torrential rain is forecast for Wednesday - from 9pm tonight for 24 hours. Up to 40mm of rain could fall over the hills.

And there are also yellow warnings of wind issued by the Met Office with gale force gusts of up to 80mph expected.

North of Elmore

West of Twigworth

Ashleworth

Lower Apperley

Chaceley

Tewkesbury
