Although it is likely to become drier and brighter this afternoon, with fewer showers and some sunny spells and a maximum temperature of 10 °C.
A band of more persistent rain is expected to spread from the east towards dawn on Saturday, with outbreaks of rain at times, heavy and persistent in places.
It's likely to be more of the same over the rest of the weekend and into Tuesday.
