Gone viral... Gloucestershire's so-called evolution

Comments (10)

Is this the work of someone with a great sense of humour or an insult to the people of Gloucestershire?

The 'Evolution' image is doing the rounds on Facebook.

It features a sheep titled 'Forest of Dean', an orangutan lablled 'Gloucester', an early-homosapien marked as 'Churchdown' and a human man as 'Cheltenham' suggesting that people in the Forest and Gloucester are less developed than their Cheltenham rivals.

What do you think about the image? Is it an insult or just a good laugh?

Some people really do need to get a sense of humour

If this has 'gone viral' on social media, then I have no problem with it. SM is for people lacking in communication skills, anyway. Also, linking Cheltenham as some sort of hierarchical being, yet man is the only one of the four that could vapourise the planet. If this really is humour, then Cheltenham is a no go area for comedy. And finally, well done to derekmd for falling for the stereo typical joke.....don't tell us, you still laugh at willy jokes?

It's entirely derivative, putting captions on an old set of diagrams often called "The Progress of Mankind". The adapter hasn't even bothered to have the sheep face to the right!

In one article people are asked to stop putting down Gloucester and then in another you peddle this rubbish from a Cheltenham child!
