Gloucestershire County Council has pledged £50,000 for immediate relief to flood victims, administered by Gloucestershire's Community Foundation.
Emergency Relief Grants of £250 are for people whose homes were flooded in November 2012. They will take the form of a flat-rate payment to help those with the most immediate needs.
Application forms are available by emailing gail.mattocks@edf-energy.com or calling 01452 656 386 or 654 834.
They must be independently countersigned by someone in a position of authority who can confirm you have been flooded.
As more funds become available further rounds of grants may be available.
Receipt of an Emergency Relief Grant will not affect eligibility for further support.
