IT was a monumental occasion for Glocestershire Echo and Citizen photographer Paul Nicholls when he got to rub shoulders with Hollywood royalty.

The snapper, from Hardwicke, went to the premiere of the new George Clooney and Matt Damon film.

They were in London to promote the movie The Monuments Men which tells the true of a team of soldiers on a mission to rescue valuable artwork stolen by the Nazis.

Paul joined other photographers for the red carpet event on Tuesday and managed to capture the Ocean’s 11 stars and a host of other celebrities.

He also shot pictures of fellow actors Ghostbusters’ Bill Murray, The Artist star Jean Dujardin and Downton Abbey’s Hugh Bonneville.
