THE following cases were dealt with by Stroud magistrates on January 7:

■ Dean William Powell, 26, of Bisley Old Road, Slad, Stroud. Assault. £25 compensation.

■ Natalie Jane Gibbins, 31, of Courtiers Drive, Bishop's Cleeve, Cheltenham. Theft (3 charges), fraud (2 charges). Community Order for 10 weeks, curfew for 10 weeks, £30 compensation, £200 costs.

■ Royston James Price, 53, of Tyndale View, Kingswood, Wotton-under-Edge. Being drunk and disorderly in a public place. Fined £35, £40 costs.

The following cases were dealt with by Cheltenham magistrates on December 21:

■ Andrew St Michael Taylor, 27, of Wesley Court, Gloucester. Driving a vehicle without a test certificate, failing to give information to a police officer. Fined £800, £100 costs, six penalty points.

■ Lewis Wayne Hawker, 25, of Alstone Court, Alstone Lane, Cheltenham. Using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. Community Order for 12 months, £50 compensation, £85 costs.

■ Wayne Paul Wiggins, 49, of Wenlock Road, Tewkesbury. Assault by beating. £100 compensation, £150 costs.

The following cases were dealt with by Cheltenham magistrates on December 24:

■ Dean James Brannigan, 41, of 108 Weston Road, Gloucester. Theft. Fined £30, £20 costs.

■ David Cehlarik, 32, of West Lodge Drive, Barnwood, Gloucester. Driving a vehicle whilst disqualified and without insurance. Community Order for 12 months, to participate in Thinking Skills Programme for 20 days, £100 costs.

The following cases were dealt with by Cheltenham magistrates on December 26:

■ Richard Elliott Mizen, 42, of Ryecroft Street, Gloucester. Being drunk and disorderly in a public place. Fined £30, £20 costs.

■ Keith William Jefferies, 49, of Moffatt Road, Nailsworth, Stroud. Drink driving, failing to stop when requested to do so by a police officer. fined £70, £65 costs, disqualified from driving for 42 months.

The following cases were dealt with by Cheltenham magistrates of December 27:

■ Scott Paul Burford, 27, of High Street, Cinderford. Drink driving. fined £241, £109 costs, disqualified from driving for three years.

■ Rui Jorge Correia Rios, 40, of Barton Street, Gloucester. Being in possession of class B drugs (2 charges). Conditional discharge for 12 months, £100 costs.

■ Marie Anne Williams, 20, of Stratton Corner, Stratton Road, Gloucester. Being in possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. Committed to detention for 16 weeks, to participate in FOSAR programme for 20 days. £100 costs.

■ Robert James Kempster, 59, of Manor Park, Longlevens, Gloucester. Driving a vehicle without a licence and whilst using a mobile telephone. Fined £135, £45 costs, three penalty points.

■ Stephen Kilby, 33, of Grange Road, Tuffley. Driving a vehicle without insurance. Fined £400, £45 costs, six penalty points.

■ Susan Maiden, 52, of Falkner Street, Gloucester. Exceeding the speed limit. Fined £130, £45 costs, three penalty points.

■ Eamon McGurk, 47, of Tewkesbury Road, Longford. Driving a vehicle whilst using a mobile telephone. Fined £135, £45 costs, three penalty points.

■ Oscar Lee Ryndziewicz, 19, of Howgate Close, Abbeymead, Gloucester. Exceeding the speed limit. Fined £75, £45 costs, five penalty points.

■ Henk Schaeken, 54, of St James Walk, Honeybourne Way, Cheltenham. Exceeding the speed limit. Fined £500, £45 costs, four penalty points.

■ Malcolm James Smith, 29, of Halland Road, Leckhampton, Cheltenham. Exceeding the speed limit. fined £130, £45 costs, three penalty points.

■ Terry Margaret Smith, 51, of Princess Elizabeth Way, Hester's Way, Cheltenham. Driving a vehicle without insurance. Fined £110, £45 costs, seven penalty points.

■ Spencer Sutton, 36, of Wells Close, Warden Hill, Cheltenham. Exceeding the speed limit. Fined £60, £45 costs, three penalty points.

■ Samantha Wood, 37, of Hemmingsdale Road, Hempsted. Exceeding the speed limit. Fined £75, £45 costs, four penalty points.

■ Sarah Barry, 33, of Churchill Road, Gloucester. Exceeding the speed limit. Fined £75, £45 costs, three penalty points.

■ Kaylee Flinter, 25, of Hamer Street, Gloucester. Exceeding the speed limit. Fined £73, £45 costs, four penalty points.

■ Malcolm John Francis, 59, of Park Road, Stonehouse. Driving a vehicle without insurance. Fined £110, £45 costs, six penalty points.

■ Danielle Anabel Grace, 20, of Avon Crescent, Brockworth, Gloucester. Exceeding the speed limit. Fined £80, £45 costs, four penalty points.

■ Mandy Hagan, 44, of Beaumont Road, Longlevens. Exceeding the speed limit. Fined £150, £45 costs, three penalty points.

■ Faye Bayliss, 20, of Caledonian Road, Gloucester. Assault by beating (2 charges), assaulting a police officer in the execution of his duty (2 charges). ■ Andrew Scott John O'Neill, 35, of Trier Way, Gloucester. Theft, being in possession of articles to be used in the course of theft. Community Order for 12 months, £80 costs.

■ Brendan George McCauley, 35, of Weston Road, Gloucester. Theft. Conditional discharge for 12 months.

■ Iesha Maria Yvette Stevens, 34, of High Street, Cinderford. Assault by beating. Community order for 18 months, to participate in Female Offending Specified Activity for 14 days and Anger and Aggression Specified Activity Sessions for seven days, £50 compensation.

■ Penelope Gillian Brill, 46, of Parkbury Close, Cheltenham. Theft (2 charges). Community Order for 12 months, £85 costs.

■ Sean Christopher Jackson, 23, of Popes Close, Swindon Road, Cheltenham. Community Order for 12 months, £85 costs.
