TOP shops across Cheltenham are celebrating today after winning awards at the Echo’s competition for retail excellence.
Prizes were handed out during a glittering black tie awards ceremony at Cheltenham Town Hall on Wednesday night.
There were 11 categories in total in the Love to Shop awards, which highlight the hard work and high standards of retailers in the borough.
Hotel Chocolat won the national Best Overall Retailer prize, while Keith Scarrott Shoes claimed the independent version of the award.
Stuart Holmes Hair & Beauty Spa scooped the independent Best Marketing Campaign honour, while John Lewis took the national prize.
The national Best Window Display gong went to House of Fraser at Cavendish House, with Blighty Antiques named number one in the independent category.
Hannah Spreadbury from Keith Scarrott Shoes won the Best Sales Representative award.
The Best Customer Service prize was given to Blend coffee shop.
Beards jewellery store was honoured with the Best Retail Security award.
Carousel children’s clothes boutique was named the Best Newcomer.
The Love to Shop awards have been praised by retailers across Cheltenham for raising awareness of the commitment and achievements of local stores.
