Supporters of the armed forces turned out to test their knowledge at the New County Hotel and help raise £3,300 for Rugby for Heroes.
Gloucester and England star Charlie Sharples was quizmaster for the night, with businesses from across Gloucestershire taking part.
Teams of four picked their brains to answer 10 questions in eight different categories. The winners walked away with a £250 cash prize, with plenty of other raffle prizes on offer.
Charlie was only too happy to give up his time to the county cause that links rugby with charitable projects for those who have served in the armed forces.
He said: “I really enjoyed my first time as quiz master, hopefully all who attended enjoyed the evening as much as I did, apart from the odd pronunciation slip.”
Other ambassadors of the charity include Charlie’s team mate coach Mike Tindall and Winter Olympic Gold medallist Amy Williams. The charity helps military personnel make the transition to civilian life.
The next event is a dinner at the Queen's Hotel in Cheltenham on Wednesday, April 16.
Tickets are priced at £45 per head, for more information click here
