Danny Dyke's Fish and Chip shop in Gloucester has been named by a Michelin-starred chef as the place where he would buy his last meal on earth.
Tom Kerridge, who grew up in Gloucestershire and attended Saintbridge Secondary School, told the Daily Mail that his ideal last meal on earth would be fish and chips with a can of Lilt from the shop on Sydenham Terrace.
He also told the Daily Mail that Lily Allen, Liam Neeson and George Clooney had visited his pub in Buckinghamshire.
Erini Pamayi, co manager of Danny Dykes, said: "We're very proud that a Michelin-starred chef has mentioned us. We work very hard to provide a good customer service so it's good to be recognised in this way.
"We're a family run business and we cook everything fresh, so we get regulars coming back to us every week. It's important to provide a good service because you never know if one of your customers will become a celebrity one day."
