IT will be another warm day for many parts of the county today, with plenty of sunshine.

However there will be some thick cloud with possible rain later in the day.

Tonight will be dry but with some showers developing later in the evening, with small patches of fog.

Temperatures will reach 17C today.

Many parts of the county will be warmer than Ibiza, Corfu and Cyprus, with temperatures reaching 21C in places.

It means plenty of time in the sun after the clocks went forward an hour for the start of British Summer Time (BST).

Much of the UK will enjoy warm weather on Monday and for the week ahead as hot air from Europe spreads north.

The weather is being driven by hot air currently over the Low Countries.

Tomorrow will be warm again for Gloucestershire, especially with many sunny spells, although further heavy and perhaps thundery showers are likely.

However this will gradually clear during the afternoon. Maximum temperatures will reach 16C.

Temperatures will reach 18C on Wednesday and Thursday in Gloucestershire but it will be cooler towards the end of the week, when temperatures will reach 13C on Saturday.
