GOLDEN boy Billy Twelvetrees said it was a 'dream come true' to score a try during his England debut.

The Gloucester Rugby player shone when he took to the pitch at Twickenham on Saturday for England's Six Nations opener against Scotland.

He scored their second try just two minutes into the second half, helping them secure a 38-18 victory.

He said he 'loved every minute' of the game and added:: "I was delighted to get on the score sheet.

"It was obviously a dream come true to score a try at Twickenham on my debut."

The 24-year-old was signed to Gloucester Rugby a year ago from Leicester and called up by England to replace an injured Manu Tuilagi

He said: "Gloucester have had faith in me and it's been good having those partnerships with Freddie and Mike Tindall who help you progress and bring out the best in everyone."
