THIS stunning view of glorious sunshine over the River Severn at Lydney Docks has a warm glow about it.
But the picture, taken by Brian Pendrey, from Cinderford, doesn't show the bitterly cold weather that has struck the county this week.
Temperatures will drop to as low as -4C tonight and it will be misty.
Tomorrow, even at the height of the day, the mercury won't rise above zero.
There'll be some reprieve on Thursday as a milder front moves in with temperatures rising to around 5C.
And umbrellas will be needed on Friday as a band of heavy rain heads our way, causing some localised flooding.
