The monster barbecue is being built at a Cotswold workshop – and is reputedly the largest in the world.
Its maker, Jack Henrique, now hopes to build even bigger and better models.
He said: "They tend to be for venues that do a lot of catering, although I can do ones for home use – I'm working on a design at the moment for a Greek family that will regularly host family gatherings for 50 people."
Jack's brother Mark, who runs the wedding and functions venue Cripps Barn, near Bibury, added: "The idea of using a jack to raise and lower the coals rather than raising and lowering a cooking grid is Jack's trademark on his bespoke barbecues and, even with a grill that is heavy with meat, it gives one infinite control."
