Poignant floral tributes lie just yards from where beautiful Gloucester hairdresser, Hollie Gazzard, was stabbed.
Flowers have been placed outside the salon where she worked in Southgate Street paying tribute to the 20-year-old from Churchdown who died following the attack.
A 22-year-old man remains in police custody this morning, being questioned on suspicion of her murder.
Officers have until this afternoon to charge him or ask a court to hold him for more time while investigations continue.
The cordon around Fringe Benefits and La Bella Beauty salon, where pretty Hollie worked as a hairstylist, was reduced in size this morning and the road is now open to buses and traffic.
The flowers read ‘you will never be forgotten,’ ‘a star that shines so brightly’ and ‘always in our thoughts’.
Mourners have taken to Facebook to express their love for the former Chosen Hill School student.
Stephanie Lucy wrote: “Dear Hollie….My heart is broken for you and your family. Every time I think of the laughs we had on Sunday, it hurts so much to think that will never happen again. Why, Why, Why. How could anyone want to hurt such a wonderful person like you xxxxxx.”
Emma Katherine Pawsey added: “Shocking and so very sad. RIP and thoughts to her family.”
