Firefighters spent two hours tackling a chimney fire near Tewkesbury this afternoon.
Two crews were called to the village of Twyning at 2.15pm after reports of a blaze at the private property.
One fire engine from Tewkesbury was called, but called for back up from another crew.
A spokesman for Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Eight firefighters attended and extinguished the chimney fire using safe working at height equipment and chimney rods.
"The crews spent a total of two hours at the scene."
