The family of 26-year-old Steven Campbell who died last Saturday, April 20 from injuries sustained in a collision on the B4425 just outside the village of Barnsley has paid tribute to his memory.

His dad John, mum Pat and sister Michelle remembered Steven as laid back and gentle with a love of motorbikes, music and films.

Steven’s dad John said “Steve was a lovely boy, and a fantastic son, brother and uncle. He never let anything get him down, unless his motorbike wasn’t working!”

Born in Cirencester and raised in South Cerney, Steven went to Ann Edwards Primary School, Kingshill School in Cirencester and Cirencester College.

Steven worked at Redland Roof tiles in South Cerney, where he was a part of a shift and was popular with his colleagues.

“Everybody thought the world of Steve, nobody had anything but good to say about him. Steven’s mum Pat said “He loved his puppy Harley and he’d stop and have a chat with other dog owners, he had time for everyone”.

John added, “We’d like to thank all of our family and friends for their support through this time”.
