What great weather we had this weekend just gone (16/17th Feb). The Family Haven volunteers were serving teas at Colesbourne Park to the walkers out enjoying the Snowdrops.

The snowdrops were blooming, the sun was shining and we raised a fantastic £2516 serving teas.

Our volunteers worked very hard both days to serve over 800 teas & coffees with cake.

We would like to thank Sir Henry and Lady Carolyn Elwes for inviting us to serve teas and help raise much needed funds for The Family Haven.

We would like to thank our volunteers who helped us Saturday and Sunday serving teas including members of the Inner Wheel; our volunteers and friends who baked cakes to be sold, including staff from the Land Registry, staff from Asda and members of the Clandestine Cake Club; and Asda for their donation of supplies such as tea, coffee, milk, paper napkins, paper plates, plastic cutlery.

And, of course, we would like to thank all the lovely people who came for tea and cake!
