Further talks have been added to the packed schedule of events at the Folk and City Museum to coincide with the Resident's Weekend, 9th and 10th February.

Admission to the four talks is free. This includes the 'Tudor Civic Portraits' talk at the Folk Museum on Saturday 9th February at 12pm and 2:30pm and 'A Tale of Two Cities part 1 Roman Colonia' on Sunday 10th February at 12pm and A Tale of Two Cities part 2 Late Roman Gloucester at 2pm both at the City Museum.

Councillor Paul James, leader of Gloucester City Council and Cabinet Member for Regeneration said: "The Resident's Weekend is promising to be even better than previous years, with more and more added to the schedule.

"Events like these really help residents to appreciate the vast history of their City and make them aware of hidden secrets our City has to offer,"

The three talks are available to pre-book, as space is limited, by emailing museums@gloucester.gov.uk or by ringing 01452 396 868.
