EMOTIONAL wellbeing is sometimes overlooked - so a free-of-charge course is being run by the NHS.
Spaces are available in Stroud, on the course designed to help improve and maintain emotional wellbeing.
The Let’s Talk sessions start on February 26 and will run for five weeks at The Hill, off Merrywalks.
The weekly sessions run from 10am until 11.30am, and the main areas covered will be diet, sleep and activity; challenging negative thinking; getting meaning and pleasure back; relationships and assertiveness; and managing problems and difficult days.
The course will provide with useful and effective strategies and skills to help people look after themselves.
It will also provide you with the foundations of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy should participants wish to receive additional help from the Let's Talk service in the future.
It is a psychological and educational course run within a group setting.
