YOUNGSTERS at Elmbridge Infant School travelled back in time as they took part in a medieval theme workshop.

They took part in a Mini Fencing sessions this week which was led by coach Liz from Buccaneer Blades.

They dressed up in the appropriate safety clothing and used foam weapons.

A fun introduction to the sport of fencing was also given.

The workshops were arranged to enhance the schools castle theme.

Head teacher, Emma Seville, said: “It was a fabulous opportunity for the children to take part in a completely new discipline.

“Everyone has been inspired by their session. The energy and excitement across the school has been fantastic.”
