Cotton wool Easter bunny mask
Your kids will love crafting and wearing a cotton wool covered Easter bunny mask. Littler children may need a little help drawing a rabbit face shaped template, but after that they can get to work cutting out and decorating their mask with cotton wool and strips of paper for whiskers.

Easter nest crispy cakes
A perennial favourite, crispy cakes don’t require any cooking so are perfect for little hands to help out with.
225g/8oz plain chocolate, broken into pieces
2 tbsp golden syrup
36 mini chocolate eggs
Line a 12-hole fairy cake tin with paper cases.
Melt the chocolate, golden syrup and butter in a bowl set over a pan of gently simmering water, (do not let the base of the bowl touch the water). Stir the mixture until smooth.
Remove the bowl from the heat and gently stir in the cornflakes until all of the cereal is coated in the chocolate.
Divide the mixture between the paper cases and press 3 chocolate eggs into the centre of each nest. Chill in the fridge for 1 hour, or until completely set.
Peek-a-boo Easter chick card
Perfect for pre-school aged children and a great gift for your little ones to give to family with a message on the back, the peek-a-boo chick card is a classic Easter craft.
Use the egg and chick template at All Kids Network to create the shape for your kids’ card. Fasten the two halves of the egg with a pin and stick the chick behind so he peeks out inbetween. Then let your little one get to work decorating their egg with whatever decorations they choose – from glitter to stick on flowers. Finally the chick will need two googly eyes and a triangle beak.
