Speculation has been mounting linking maverick rugby player Danny Cipriani with a move to Gloucester.
An article at The Rugby Paper has hinted the star could be heading to Kingsholm to fill the void at fly-half which will be left by Freddie Burns at the end of the season.
The former boyfriend of Kelly Brook, who has had a series of on and off-field bust-ups since he won the last of his seven England caps in 2008, has experienced a revival in form in recent weeks.
A string of fine performances for Sale Sharks in the Aviva Premiership have brought him back into contention for an England callup.
Cherry and Whites fans logging onto Gloucester fans forum Shed Web gave a lukewarm response to the idea.
One user, under the name Fat Taff, wrote: "Shedweb can't stand Cips.
"He was the most talented English player of his generation, the absolute real deal, until that horrible ankle bust.
"Never been the same since."
Original Tetley wrote: "Henson & Cipriani - too much baggage."
Other fly-halves cited on Shed Web as potential replacements for Burns include Wales internationals Dan Biggar and Rhys Priestland as well as former Kingsholm favourite Ryan Lamb, who now plies his trade at Leicester.
