February's culture club at the City Museum and Art Gallery will give a fascinating insight into the life of Gloucester's sporting legend, Lightweight boxer Hal Bagwell.

Visitors to the lunchtime forty minute session on Wednesday 5th February at 1:10pm will be able to find out more about the city's famous lightweight boxer who complete over 300 fights in a career spanning over three decades.

Amazingly Hal Bagwell won all challenges, despite often putting in a full day's work as a motor mechanic before the fight.

The talk will be given by local man Jerry Jenkins.

General museum admission is payable; Adults £3, Concessions £2 (over 60s), Members Free.

Pre-book your place by emailing museums@gloucester.gov.uk or telephoning the City Museum on 01452 396131.
