Comedy on the cards as Miranda writer visits Gloucester docks

Comedy is coming to Gloucester Quays when BBC sitcom writer Paul Karesna visits the city on Thursday, January 23.

Fosters on the docks is launching the comedy night, featuring the man who penned gags for popular shows Miranda and Not Going Out.

The night will be followed up by an 11 week Alpha course at the refurbished nearby Mariners Hall to explore the meaning of life.

Tickets for the Confessions of a Kneel Down Stand Up night are £5, to admit two people.

    The reporting gets worse! If the newspaper is going to advertise a person they could at least spell his name right. It's Paul KARENSA not Karesna. I tried looking him up after finding the correct spelling of his name and there are videos of him on youtube. He made me laugh so JemmyWood should look at those videos before he passes comment that may put people off going to see him.

    Jemmy, I think that Miranda Hart writes most of Miranda herself. I find it very funny. Shouldn't the photo be of Paul Karesna? Most of us know what Miranda Hart looks like, and she's not coming to Gloucester anyway.

    If he is responsible for the waste of TV licence fee that is Miranda, it will be as funny as a bucket of cold sick with holes in it.
