A WIDESPREAD frost greeted Gloucestershire this morning.
Temperatures were still close to freezing at 9am as residents woke up to brilliant sunshine and blue skies.
The cold, but sunny, weather is set to continue for the rest of the day with highs of 7C expected on the last day of The Open at Cheltenham Racecourse.
The county is due to become windier this evening with a milder night forecast.
And looking ahead to Monday there will be some bright spells but heavy rain is likely to descend at lunchtime and in the early evening.
