GLOUCESTER Cathedral's very own choirboys are set to wow audiences at a festive concert next month.
On Sunday December 9 at 4pm the Cathedral will be filled with the angelic sound of the choirboys singing a number of carols accompanied by harpist Eluned Pierce.
Last year the boys performed to a packed audience in the Lady Chapel with standing room only.
This year the performance will take place in the larger space of the Cathedral Quire to ensure that everyone can get a seat. Admission is free with a retiring collection in aid of Cathedral Music and no ticket is required.
The concert opens and ends with the boys in candlelit procession, and the sections in between deal with the traditional stories surrounding the birth of Christ.
