Cheltenham Town 0 Rochdale 0
Cheltenham Town are still waiting for their first win of 2013 after they were held by Rochdale in awful weather conditions at the Abbey Business Stadium this evening.
It was a third draw in a row for Mark Yates' side, but more concerning is that they have managed just one goal in those three games since the 4-0 Boxing Day victory over Wycombe Wanderers.
Swindon Town striker Paul Benson was in the main stand to watch the club chasing his loan signature in action.
The best chance of the night for the home side fell to central defender Keith Lowe, but he was denied by a fine Josh Lillis save in the 67th minute.
Cheltenham goalkeeper Scott Brown was only forced into one save of note, denying Bobby Grant in the 17th minute and clear goalscoring chances were at a premium in strong winds and heavy rain.
Yates kept faith with the same XI that drew 0-0 at Morecambe a week earlier, but new loan signing from Manchester United Luke McCullough was on the bench.
Darren Carter, who has signed a deal to the end of the season, missed out with an ankle injury.
