Cheltenham Town will hold a pitch inspection at 1pm ahead of tonight's home match against Rochdale.
Swindon Town striker and Robins loan target Paul Benson will be at the match if the pitch is passed fit for the 7.45pm kick-off to go ahead as planned.
If the game is called off, it is likely to be rearranged for next Tuesday night.
Groundsman Terry Roberts rated the game's chances as 50/50 at 9.30am, saying it was entirely down to the referee's opinion during the inspection.
Meanwhile, boss Mark Yates is close to tying up several deals and announcements are expected later today.
