A planning row over an illuminated sign will be settled by a planning inspector.
Brighthouse has appealed against Stroud District Council, which blocked retropsective permission for an "incongruous and inappropriate" illuminated sign in King Street, Stroud.
The company, which operates the store at 12, King Street, has erected te sign but the council says it cannot have planning permission because it does not fit in with the Conservation Area.
A Government-appointed planning inspector will make a final ruling.

I hope the council have good lawyers - with the astronomical interest rates Brighthouse charge on their 'pay weekly' deals - I'm sure they can afford a top legal team.
