A remains of a Tredworth laundrette were being surveyed by police investigators this morning.

The Wash & Go shop on High Street was ablaze at 4am on Saturday morning.

Eleven firefighters tackled the blaze from two crews led by watch commander Simon Robson.

The crews found the ground floor 'well alight' and it is thought around 50 per cent of that floor has been destroyed.

Firefighters were on the scene for almost one hour and a half.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
