It hasn't been the best of ends to 2013 for Gloucester pop star Nathan Sykes.
The singer, from The Wanted, is said to have split from his girlfriend Ariana Grande, his grandfather died just days before Christmas and rumours have been rife that the band are to be dropped from their label.

He came home to Gloucester for Christmas, spending Christmas Eve at The Turmut-Hoer pub, in Abbeymead.
But things could be looking up for 2014.
The Abbeydale star and his fellow band members took to Twitter to say: "Big news in the new year coming. Excited to share. Happy holidays."
The news will be a welcome relief for thousands of fans who were left fearing the worst after The Wanted cancelled some of the tour dates, leading to speculation of poor ticket sales.
