CHARITY superstar Jamie McDonald has had yet another boost to the coffers of his appeal, after a band recorded a single for him.

Jamie, 27, from Tredworth, is running 5,000 miles across Canada unaided for the Pied Piper Appeal, Great Ormand Street Hospital and children’s charities across Canda.

Band members from Last Night's Victory, Charlie Crisp and Charlie Baxter, from Cheltenham, have collaborated with Joe Green, Jessica Crabtree, Rashid Ahmad, Chrisian Walsh and Rod Crisp to create a song titled Who I Am for the appeal.

A statement on the band’s facebook page said: “With just 20 marathons from over 200 left to run he has nearly finished so we would appreciate you to spread the word.”
