I suppose people will say the Municipal Offices don't have very good bouncers as well, now.

It appears that ignoramous hasn't a positive word to say on any article posted on TiG - clearly uneducated and blind to the realism of the 21st Centuary. Lock yourself away and remain oblivious..

No need to SHOUT, ignoramous. So what you are suggesting is that the law-abiding, respectful, non-violent majority should abandon the town centre after dark? Thereby letting the feral scum (as you do correctly call them) win...? No, not the best thing to do. And certainly (thankfully) isn't "normal behaviour" in the town. I do agree with you that the punishments handed out to the feral scum (if ever identified and brought before a court) are often derisory, and are in no way a deterrent to prevent them from doing similar again, or to others who think they can thump somebody and get away with it. I do wonder why it's taken until 9th November for this assault to be reported. Perhaps because the victim didn't tell anybody until the end of last week, and has been persuaded to contact the police? Whatever, he's been knocked unconscious by these thugs - maybe he said or did something he shouldn't have said / done to the 2 women and the men intervened, but at the same time there's nothing in the report above to suggest the victim said or did anything that warranted being knocked out and (I assume) hospitalised. The Prom, outside the Municipal Offices - must be covered by CCTV...???
