Ade Edmondson & The Bad Shepherds are the latest act to be announced for Lakefest.

The folk-punk outfit will be joined by Neville Staple for the Croft Farm festival which takes place from August 8 to 10 in Tewkesbury.

They join the likes of the Fun'Lovin Criminals, Snap and Lee 'Scratch' Perry on the bill.

Lee Martin, Lakefest organiser said “Another amazing couple of acts to add to the line-up; this year’s festival is coming together nicely and I am so excited for the remaining line-up to be announced over the coming months.

"It won’t be long before Lakefester’s can start the countdown to August – it is going to be Lakefest’s best year yet."

A host of additional acts will also be added in the following months to create a jam-packed three day line-up.

Ade Edmondson tried winding up the Guildhall audience up a few years' ago, by uttering the words, "Remember, you've all got Fred West genes". A friend was appalled by this. He was concerned that there might be Fred West victim loved ones in the audience.
